The initial consultation takes approximately 60 minutes. It is essential so we can discuss your fitness goals, medical conditions, injuries and current health habits - all things I need to consider which dictates the planning of your exercise sessions and the best approach for you. From this, I can help you to set realistic targets that you can aim for week to week.
Another key component of your first session is to measure your current health and fitness capabilities. We measure blood pressure, body fat, body measurements, fitness and strength testing. Don't be hesitant about the first session, the aim is to get your starting point and a picture of where you are at today. We use this as your motivation to change and to improve. How will you know how much you've changed if you don't know where you've begun?
